Wow, it’s been awhile since I’ve posted here! I can’t believe a week ago today I was in Venice! We had an amazing trip to Italy. My group of students was great and I really enjoyed the time with them. Italy is so beautiful that it is hard to put into words. I find my pictures don’t do it justice either. I can’t wait to go back sometime! In the nine days I was gone we visited six cities! Rome, Assisi, Firenze (Florence), Verona, Venice, and Milano. Hopefully I can connect with most of you and show you some pictures once I’ve sorted them. Today I am home sick, not sure if it’s just jet lag, or if I caught something…
On our adoption front, there is no news. We’ve now had our papers in Ethiopia for three months. The earliest we might receive a referral is mid-July. The latest is mid-March!! Travel is now predicted at anywhere from two to six months after that. So best-case is travel in September (so not going to happen!) and worst case is mid-September 2009! (I can’t make it that long!!) More than likely we are still looking at picking the kids up around March next year.
